Background info on the song “Maybe In Time”:
During the past year, between Life’s regular occurrences, traveling city to city and state to state, reading, working out, songwriting/producing for other artists, and shows accompanied by hotel after parties, TRUE 2 LIFE MUSIC has been recording for our next major release. The time has come for us to release “Maybe in Time”, the 1st song we are unveiling from our upcoming project titled Money Never Sleeps (…a prelude to every dream).
The song is birthed from an unwillingness to be complacent. It is a mantra proclaiming that although personal relationships may become strained, we are committed to remain full steam ahead towards our ambitions and goals, just as you all should. We hope you enjoy!
Rare Unheard Jay-Z Interview from 1995 (Pre - Reasonable Doubt)In New York City, in the summer of 1995, when Jeru the Damaja failed to show up for an interview, a young Jay-Z, along with Jaz-O, and Malachi of Group Home filled in and were interviewed instead. This was 1995 at Payday Records, at a time when every other record label had already passed on signing a then unknown Jay-Z. At the time of this interview Jay-Z had just released the single “In My Lifetime” with the B-Side “I Can’t Get With That” on Payday Records.

Pretty Boy Neac - Pushin, Pimpin, PuffinWe’re proud to present Pretty Boy Neac’s debut album titled “Pushin, Pimpin, Puffin“. The album was released to the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina already but this is it’s internet debut. The whole album is produced by True 2 Life Music. Neac resides in Charlotte, North Carolina however the project was recorded over a 3 month period here in Brooklyn, NY, where I had to embrace a southern vibe. The subject matter should be no surprise, but the title doesn’t tell you enough about the music. The wave is definitely bouncy yet smooth, the beats go in, and lyrics are anything but absent. Definitely worth checking out.
Shouts to Ono on the artwork, Juice and Q. Biz for production.
