So we just got updated today that, in under 4 weeks, our record “Poppin’ On TV” (iTunes link) moved to #3 on the Top 30 charts tracking hip-hop college radio spins. Request “Poppin’ On TV” at your college radio station! and let us know if they don’t have the song at the station…

We’re currently in South Florida right now banging out a few new records and working on some new production. That amongst hanging out of course. But we didn’t have internet access for a couple days. pardon our absence.

True 2 Life recently got some international love (shouts to Sumit) as our record “That’s That” off “Larger Than Life” and music video for “Poppin’ On TV” were both featured on the UK’s award winning hip hop site, The Hip Hop Chronicle.

What’s Good True 2 Lifers!

We are finally ready to premier the music video we shot for Poppin’ On TV.

After alot of time and tedious efforts, we got the final cut back from director Omar Derby and the video is FIRE! We would like to invite all our family, friends, fans, listeners, followers, haters, lovers, stalkers, pets, doctors, democrats, republicans, to celebrate the release with us.

We will be splitting up the premier of the video into a 3 part series (as you can probably see in the top banner).

First Part:
NYC Release Party - Tuesday, Nov. 25th - 420 Bar and Lounge, 80th & Amsterdam, NYC

Second Part:
HARTFORD Release Party - Wednesday, Nov. 26th - Life Ultra lounge, 81 Asylum St, Hartford, CT

Third Part:
World Premier - Black Friday, Nov. 28th - We will be uploading the video to this site and youtube. So check back here for more details

So Yeah….
Along with T-Pain, ya boys TRUE 2 LIFE MUSIC kicked off Towson University’s homecoming week. In front of a sold-out crowd of over 3,500 students, we took the stage performing an array of our hits and interludes. Dope music. High energy. Dance moves. You know how we do.

Afterwards the kids at Towson showed us an incredible amount of love. We took pictures, we chatted [“there’s chatsworth out there” © Slang ], we answered questions. Fun times.

I just wanted to say to the Towson crowd… you guys were great. Top 5 (dead or alive) when it comes to colleges that we’ve performed for.

On Thursday August 14th, 2008, TRUE 2 LIFE MUSIC performed @ Rehab in NYC. Needless to say, we rocked out. The show was dope, the turn out was dope, and we had a great time. Shouts out to everyone who came thru to support. However you know us, whether it’s from school, working on the set of “Notorious” (in theaters Jan. 2009), “Poppin’ on TV“, friends from back home or just if you came via word of mouth.. we wanna say THANK YOU for attending and contributing to yet another memorable moment in our rise/development.

Special shouts to Amilcar (handles the contracts) and Dedan for making it all happen.
