So you may have heard us mention our next project tentatively titled “The Longest Summer Ever” (yes its still tentative). Well recently we’ve been going in recording, producing and writing alot of music and we planning on releasing it with a series of themed EPs, collectively titled “The Longest Summer Ever” It will truly be a True 2 Life Music experience and you can think about that until we feel like explaining more.

First release is expected to be end of this month.

As the tweet said and the video below shows…we had an unfortunate turn of events this weekend. We were supposed to rock out at the HIN Boston and instead we got rained out. The event was poppin’ too, outdoors (unlike last year), models, cars, drifting, the works. But honestly, with any game, you win some and lose some. We’ve taken hits on shows, opportunities, meetings, deals etc. We like to minimize our losses, from just being thorough and dope. But we’ve seen and dealt with sudden change and ups and downs so many times. Its only fuel to keep us going and make us stronger.

What’s good?

We’re back in the studio from our performance at Vibe Magazine headquarters downtown NYC last night. Shouts to our people at Pulse & Vibe, DJ Fame, etc. The show was dope, we had a great time and appreciated the response. Now we’re tightening up some new records for a release by the end of this month. Word up.

Today we are back on the road and heading up to New Hampshire for Hot Import Nights - Boston (Yeah, they’re holding the HIN Boston in New Hampshire). We performed at this event last year…and did our thing! So this year they are stepping it up as they always do and are hosting this mega car show outdoors at the New England Dragway in Epping, NH. HIN booked us to come back and as we did last year, we will be performing live and rocking out.

What’s Good True 2 Lifers?

We’ll be performing tomorrow evening in NYC at the Vibe Media Group Headquarters in NYC for the Pulse Magazine Launch party. Pulse is an internal publication at Vibe and will be releasing it’s latest full magazine issue and launching its website tomorrow evening. To commemorate the event Vibe will be holding a party at the office with live entertainment, including a performance from your boys, True 2 Life Music. True 2 Life is also featured in the Pulse Magazine. Shouts to our people over at Pulse and Vibe for looking out.

If you haven’t seen us perform live, we go in! I’m looking forward to doing our thing and enjoying the party. You never know who might walk up in Vibe, could be Ri Ri.
