KING
In remembrance of the day Martin Luther King Jr, was assassinated, I wanted to share with you true 2 lifers an exerpt from the life and times of MLK. For me, MLK’s persistence to his cause in the face of adversity alone is motivation. Not to mention the overwhelming power of his words and his vision. Anyone in the universe should be able to draw inspiration from the KING.
Here is the exerpt, a quick read from a chapter of MLK’s autobiography. He talks about being stabbed in the chest and not letting that type of violence distract his movement.

MLK… strong dude, forreal. He personifies strength… it’s alot easier to react to what was thrown at him with anger and rage.. but he decided to deal with any feelings internally and present this attitude of civil disobedience which really helped our people.
Me personally, I don’t know if I coulda done it… I feel like if I was around back then I mighta had to clock someone over the head… pistol whip ‘em or something… that’s word too.
